In this vital role, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing the shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products. Your expertise in warehouse management systems, inventory management, and shipping logistics will help streamline operations and enhance customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your organizational skills and attention to detail will make a significant impact. Responsibilities Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments using proper packaging materials to ensure product safety during transit Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and update inventory management software accordingly Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, reach trucks, and RF scanners to load, unload, and move stock efficiently Maintain accurate records of shipping & receiving activities through data entry into ERP systems like AS400 or similar platforms Coordinate with carriers for scheduling pickups and deliveries while ensuring compliance with trade regulations and international trade standards Conduct inventory counts regularly using warehouse distribution systems to monitor stock levels and assist in order fulfillment Assist with order picking & packing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in fulfilling customer orders, including e-commerce orders Experience Proven experience working in warehouse operations or logistics environments with familiarity in shipping & receiving procedures Hands-on experience with inventory management software, ERP systems (such as AS400), and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) tools Demonstrated ability to operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely (certification preferred) Strong knowledge of shipping logistics, trade compliance, and international trade regulations Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes Basic math skills for calculating weights, measurements, and quantities accurately Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members, carriers, and suppliers Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to excellence in warehouse distribution!
