Temp Are you detail-oriented, reliable, and ready to play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly? We're looking for a dedicated Receiving Clerk in McKinney, Texas! In this essential position, you'll ensure that all incoming shipments of raw materials and products are received, inspected, and processed accurately and efficiently. Position Summary The Receiving Clerk is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming shipments. You will unload packages, verify contents against orders and invoices, and maintain accurate inventory records while upholding the highest standards of safety and quality. Key Responsibilities Receive shipments, sign required paperwork, and unload packages from incoming trucks Inspect contents for damage and verify accuracy (quantity, quality, pricing, etc.) Contact suppliers or shippers regarding any discrepancies or issues Manage returns of unsatisfactory shipments and coordinate replacements Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated storage locations Maintain accurate records and support inventory control processes Ensure full compliance with all workplace safety guidelines Provide backup support for shipping, stockroom, or cable cage operations as needed Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 3 years of experience in material handling and/or receiving Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and comfortable using database systems Strong attention to detail with excellent verification and organizational skills Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment Good verbal and written communication skills, including legible handwriting Strong customer service mindset and a collaborative team-player attitude Flexibility to work unpredictable hours on short notice when required U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (required to satisfy ITAR requirements) What You'll Bring A proactive, problem-solving approach Pride in accuracy and efficiency A positive attitude and willingness to support the broader team This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on role and takes ownership of their work.
