Shipping and Receiving Clerk

As we grow, we are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk.

Position Overview:

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for coordinating and executing the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies. This role plays a key part in ensuring inventory accuracy and timely delivery of goods. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and has experience in warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders and packing slips. Inspect received items for damage, shortages, or quality issues. Accurately document all incoming and outgoing shipments in inventory systems. Prepare and package items for shipment, including labeling and documentation. Coordinate pickups and deliveries with carriers and internal departments. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely. Operate company vehicles with trailer for local deliveries, as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Assist with inventory operations, including cycle counts. Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with vendors, carriers, and internal staff regarding shipment schedules or issues.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required. 3+ years of warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience preferred. Familiarity with inventory software and warehouse management systems (WMS). Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification preferred). Clean driving record & valid driver's license Strong organizational and time management skills. Basic computer skills (email, data entry, spreadsheets). Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods. Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and recordkeeping. Ability to work in varying temperatures both inside and outside warehouse.

Pay:

$22.67 - $27.30 per hour
