SHIPPING CLERK
 Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm $14.00 per hour 
ESSENTIAL
 JOB FUNCTIONS Prepare and organize shipments for LTL and truckload carriers in compliance with DOT weight regulationsInspect and verify shipments before, during, and after loadingCommunicate daily with LTL and truckload carriers regarding shipmentsMove trailers between designated plant locations as needed (Class A CDL required)Prepare reels, boxes, skids, and other materials for domestic and export shipments, including wrapping, banding, boxing, and labelingLoad finished goods onto trailers or railcars, ensuring proper blocking and bracingTransport finished goods to staging and storage areasMaintain cleanliness and organization of the shipping department and reel yardAssist with annual finished goods inventory audits JOB REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or equivalentValid Class A CDL requiredForklift operation experience requiredBasic knowledge of shipping, packaging, and loading proceduresAbility to safely use shipping tools and equipment, including forklifts, saws, banding equipment, and hand toolsUnderstanding of proper packaging materials and techniques to prevent product damageAbility to follow verbal and written instructions accuratelyGood judgment in loading shipments to maximize weight limits and spacePhysically able to lift, move, and load materials; must be able to distinguish colorsWillingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions1-3 months of related experience preferred #psbrownwood
