Job Description

Job Title:
Shipping Associate Job Description The Shipping Associate prepares and processes outgoing orders, supports warehouse inventory activities, and helps maintain an organized, climate-controlled facility. This role involves using RF scanners and shipping software, operating material-handling equipment, and working closely with production to ensure accurate and timely shipment of products. Responsibilities Prepare outgoing orders by boxing, sealing, labeling, and verifying product accuracy before shipment. Use an RF scanner to track inventory, pick orders, and update stock levels in the system. Stock shelves and maintain an organized, clean, and efficient warehouse area. Operate pallet jacks and, after receiving training and certification, safely operate sit-down forklifts to move materials. Unload incoming trucks safely and efficiently, including lifting, loading, and unloading products as needed. Transport finished products from the production area to the shipping department in a timely manner. Utilize ShipStation software to process, prepare, and print shipping labels and documentation. Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory control activities to ensure accurate stock records. Complete basic data entry related to inventory, shipping, and receiving tasks. Follow all facility rules, including PPE, cleanliness, and safety procedures, at all times. Essential Skills Previous warehouse experience. Experience with shipping and receiving processes. Ability to use RF scanners for picking, tracking, and inventory updates. Proficiency in basic computer skills and data entry. Experience with packing, lifting, loading, unloading, and stocking materials. Familiarity with inventory control and cycle counts. Ability to operate pallet jacks safely. Willingness and ability to obtain training and certification on sit-down forklifts. Ability to work safely in a controlled environment that may involve handling products containing dairy or shellfish. Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience using warehouse inventory systems. Experience with ShipStation or similar shipping software. Comfort working in a climate- and moisture-controlled environment. Ability to stand, walk, and lift items as part of daily warehouse activities. Openness to working in a bilingual environment; Spanish language skills are welcome. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role is based in a non-smoking, climate- and moisture-controlled facility where all rooms are maintained at approximately 65 degrees year-round. Team members must sign a non-disclosure agreement related to proprietary supplement recipes and must be able to work around products that may contain dairy or shellfish. The workplace requires personal protective equipment, including hair nets, coats, gloves, and booties, to maintain strict cleanliness and product safety standards. The environment is warehouse and production-based, involving regular use of RF scanners, computers, pallet jacks, and, after training, sit-down forklifts. The facility is open to bilingual and Spanish-only speakers. Available shifts include first shift from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and second shift from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with all new hires training on first shift. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buda, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
