DUTIES/RESULTS
Shipping:
  • Process pick tags and pack parts for shipment to sub-contractors.
  • Check to verify the scheduled ship date, part number, quantities of items, and method of shipment on each customer order.
  • Must pay close attention to detail.
Ensure all packages are packaged and shipped on or before the scheduled ship date.
Receiving:
  • Accurately receives material per the job function procedure. Must be able to count and write legibly.
  • Work in an organized manner at all times.
  • Process shipments promptly.
  • Effectively perform all positions for both domestic and international.
  • Process and maintain receiving tags and kanbans for international invoices as well as domestic.
  • Must keep accurate counts for all parts and materials received.
Stores:
  • Maintain stores in an orderly manner per ISO9000, NYPS, and SAP procedures.
  • Accurately receive and down count inventory.
  • Accurately pulls parts for manufacturing lines.
  • Pull customer order for shipments per the product information on the production control tag.
  • Must be able to perform all position in the store area as well as filling in for other Clerks during their absence.
  • Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must wear safety shoes and safety glasses.
  • Must be able to operate using hand trucks and pallet jacks.
  • Must be oriented and display a positive attitude when working under pressure.
  • Must be flexible and team oriented with the ability to work well with others.
  • Effectively communicate with Mfg. and Prod. Control and other departments as necessary.
  • Will be expected to cross train in other Clerk's areas as required.
  • Cross-trained in all job classifications of S/R/S.
  • Overtime required when scheduled
SPECIFICATIONS
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Prior Experience:
Three or more years' experience in Shipping/Receiving/Stores or equivalent is required. Production control experience a plus. Also, must be familiar with Word Perfect, Microsoft Excel and SAP.
