Responsibilities Manage incoming shipments by accurately unloading, inspecting, and recording materials using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) Prepare orders for shipment through picking, packing, and staging items using order pickers, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and forklifts while adhering to safety protocols Maintain organized stock levels through effective stocking, replenishment, and inventory rotation practices aligned with warehouse distribution standards Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms to track inventory movements, update stock records, and support order fulfillment accuracy Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks to load and unload goods efficiently while following safety guidelines Support shipping & receiving activities by verifying shipment details, preparing shipping labels, and coordinating with carriers for timely deliveries Assist in cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy and identify discrepancies promptly Skills Proven experience with warehouse operations including stocking, order picking & packing, shipping & receiving Proficiency in operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners in a fast-paced environment Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400 or similar platforms for inventory control Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order processing Familiarity with e-commerce fulfillment processes and warehouse distribution strategies Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and coordinate tasks efficiently Join us as a Material Specialist if you thrive in energetic environments where your skills directly impact operational success.
