Overview:

The F&B Purchasing & Receiving Clerk for Trinity F&B (Fort Worth Convention Center) will be responsible for properly receiving, storing, and issuing all food and beverage products in the food, beverage, and general storeroom.

Responsibilities:

Position is based at the Fort Worth Convention Center Verifies what food and beverage deliveries are per specifications and quality levels - Verification of product from order guides of quantities, pricing, sizes, counts, weight tolerance, and acceptable expiration dates. Operate lift truck or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage area. Operate lift truck or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage area\ Signs invoices with proper signature. Communicates shorts on invoices. Oversee activity in general storerooms. Directly responsible for sanitation in the Food and Beverage storage areas. Assist with completion of monthly inventory process. Assist with any administrative duties for the Purchasing & Receiving department as needed. Assist other departments as necessary.

Qualifications:

The person in this role will work inside and outside, in different weather conditions. Must be able to work in walk-in refrigerators and freezers for extended periods of time. Previous experience with safe operation of forklift Good verbal & written communication skills.
