• 1st Shift Sit Down Forklift Operator
• Job Description
• The Sit‑Down Forklift Operator will be responsible for moving, staging, and organizing materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting daily warehouse operations. This role works closely with the Shipping/Receiving team and the General Manager, requiring a balance of equipment operation, material handling, and basic documentation tasks to keep production running smoothly.
• Responsibilities
• + Maintain and update inventory records accurately. + Support the General Manager and production floor with various tasks. + Operate the sit-down forklift for approximately 70% of the time. + Perform general production work for the remaining 30% of the time.
• Essential Skills
• + Experience in a production environment. + Proficiency in inventory control and management. + Ability to operate a sit-down forklift.
• Additional Skills & Qualifications
• + Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, and other inventory management systems. + Experience with work orders, purchase orders, and bills of lading. + Strong organizational and scheduling skills.
