This role ensures outgoing shipments are processed accurately, packaged properly, and shipped in a timely manner. Responsibilities include preparing shipments, maintaining shipping records, processing paperwork, and assisting with inventory and warehouse organization. From processing customer orders to coordinating shipment pickups, the Shipping Clerk plays a key role in ensuring operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Prepare outgoing shipments by packing, labeling, and verifying products for shipment Ensure accuracy of serial numbers, batch numbers, part numbers, and product descriptions Process work orders, invoices, pick tickets, packing lists, freight bills, and shipping labels Create and print shipping labels through UPS, FedEx, or other freight carriers Coordinate shipment pickups and ensure timely outgoing deliveries Pull shipment orders and stock finished goods as needed Maintain accurate shipping inventory and stock information Record shipping data in company databases and systems Report defects, damaged items, discrepancies, or shipping delays promptly Operate a forklift to move shipments from storage areas to shipping pallets Maintain adequate shipping supplies and materials Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe at all times Wear required safety equipment and follow all workplace safety procedures Complete assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining quality and accuracy standards Key Areas of Responsibility Pick orders based on supervisor instructions and verify all products before shipment Accurately complete all required shipping paperwork, including: Pick tickets Packing lists Freight bills UPS/FedEx shipping labels Maintain organization and cleanliness within the warehouse and shipping areas Support overall warehouse operations and team productivity Experience Requirements Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred Experience creating shipping labels through UPS/FedEx preferred Experience using

EPICOR ERP

systems is a plus Forklift experience preferred Other Requirements Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor for extended periods Ability to use a tape measure and identify products by size and length Dependable with strong attention to detail and quality Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment Strong organizational and time management skills Commitment to safe and efficient work practices
