Shipping Associate Description:
The qualified Shipping Associate will preferably possess have a high school diploma or equivalent and is responsible for supporting the daily outbound shipping operations to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient order fulfillment. This role involves consolidating and staging orders, processing small parcel shipments, managing carrier pickups, and working with customer shipping portals to meet delivery requirements. A qualified candidate will also prepare items for shipment by performing the following duties to quality and productivity standards: Consolidate and stage orders efficiently for shipment. Manage masterload orders, when applicable, to streamline freight processing. Process small parcel shipments using the LMS (Logistics Management System). Manage shipments through customer portals and websites, ensuring accurate entry and tracking. Schedule shipment pickups with carriers such as FedEx, UPS, DHL, and freight/specialty carriers. Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed to support outbound operations.
Shipping Associate Requirements:
The Shipping Associate should preferably possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have a valid driver's license. The Shipping Associate should preferably possess at least 1 years of experience using all computer functions necessary to perform shipping duties with a warehouse environment. This includes standing continuously, lifting up to 75lbs unassisted and repetitive use of hands/manual dexterity. The Shipping Associate should possess the ability communicate effectively with co-workers, organize and prioritize job tasks to aid in satisfying customer requirements. The ideal candidate must also possess the ability to work overtime as needed.
