We offer quality design and development of all sheet metal needs, specializing in precision manufacturing and timely delivery. We serve numerous industries, including but not limited to: Baggage Handling Conveyors, Electrical Cabinets, Store Fixturing, Electronic Processing Equipment, and Turnkey Machining. Receiving Clerk This is a full-time position, working days are Monday-Friday with Saturday availability.
Responsibilities include:
- Count and inspect incoming items to see that received items match the paperwork provided.
- Receive the items in company ERP system, crosschecking the purchase order matches what is being received.
- Mark received items with job information indicated on the purchase order and store items appropriately until needed for production or assembly.
- Organize and maintain hardware/ parts room inventory.
- Check stock for hardware items required for upcoming jobs and create a bin for said job containing anything pulled from stock.
- Ensure that items distributed to production or assembly are the correct items for the job being worked on by checking order numbers on the routers to the numbers on the items.
- Work closely with purchasing, production and assembly to facilitate getting the correct items to the correct departments at the appropriate time.
- Load and unload trucks as required.
- Assist with packing parts and jobs for shipment as required.
Qualifications:
- Stand for length of shift
- Lift bulky and heavy items up to 50lbs
- Operate forklift and pallet jack
- Ability to use company ERP system, as well as
- Microsoft Office (email, excel and word)
- Strong Organizational Skills
- Self-Starter
- Work overtime as required Compensation is commensurate with related experience.
