International Name Plate Supplies LTD. (INPS) is a world class provider of mobile identification graphics. Our customers include (but are not limited to) the North American rail, transit, and trucking industries and various policing agencies across the continent. We currently have an immediate opening for a Shipping/Inventory Clerk in our Longview, TX facility. The ideal candidate will be a dependable, detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and time management skills. A minimum of 1-2 years experience in shipping, receiving, inventory control, or warehouse operations is preferred. The successful candidate must be able to work effectively with other team members and departments to ensure timely shipments and accurate inventory management in a fast-paced environment. Duties include but are not limited to: Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials, verifying quantities and condition. Prepare, package, label, and ship finished goods according to work orders and shipping requirements. Load and unload trucks using material handling equipment and/or a forklift. Verify shipment completeness against work orders. Inspect shipments for required hazardous material labels and SDS sheets. Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts and physical inventories. Verify inventory availability and investigate inventory discrepancies. Assesses inventory reports and order patterns to identify items requiring automatic or recurring replenishment. Complete shipping and receiving documentation, including bills of lading. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and work area. Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements. Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience of 1-2 years preferred. Basic math skills for counting, weighing, measuring, and maintaining inventory accuracy. Basic computer skills. Ability to read and follow work orders, shipping documents, and inventory records. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Forklift experience or certification is an asset. Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs. Reliable, dependable, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
