E-Commerce Fulfillment Assistant (Coffee and Distribution Industry, in-person, Part-time) We are looking for a Part-time E-Commerce Fulfillment Assistant to join our team! This role works directly under our Supply Chain Specialist. This role supports the warehouse team to keep our shipping and fulfillment operations accurate and efficient. A deep appreciation for specialty coffee will be beneficial in this role. Candidates will be expected to support our high-paced holiday season fulfillment.
Schedule:
Starts at 7:30am. Regular schedule. Part-time, approximately 20-25 hours per week, non-exempt. Specific days/hours to be discussed based on fulfillment volume and shift coverage needs.
Position Description:
The E-Commerce Fulfillment Assistant will work collaboratively with the logistics operations and warehouse team to ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time. This role is focused on the physical and operational side of order fulfillment, supporting the business's efficiency behind the scenes.

Fulfillment and Shipping:
Retrieve items based on invoices or shipping lists, verify the quantity or type of items, label and sort items correctly, and package them safely for shipment, maintaining high-quality standards across all types of fulfillment. Adjust open orders as needed, including cancellations, exchanges, or holding fulfillment using our shipping platforms. Maintain a database of shipments to ensure that customer orders are updated and that appropriate documents are provided. Determine the best shipping methods for materials, using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates. Acknowledge drop-ship orders properly and accurately. Support weekly drop-ship order invoicing as needed.

Ability to learn and efficiently navigate various digital platforms: Microsoft Office Suite, Monday, and other project management platforms, Shopify and Shipstation, iOS (Mac). Ability to stand for up to 5 hours per shift. Ability to lift items weighing up to 40 lbs.
Candidate Should Possess:
A love for people and coffee! Previous shipping, warehouse, and/or inventory management experience. Forklift certification is a plus.
