Job Description

Shipping Clerk Assistant Job Description:

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Shipping Clerk Assistant. The ideal candidate will assist the shipping clerk in managing outgoing shipments and ensuring that all products are carefully packaged and shipped in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

Ensure that all shipping documents are accurately completed and filed properly. Coordinate with carriers to schedule pick-ups and deliveries. Perform inventory checks to ensure that all products are accounted for and properly stored. Assist with maintaining a clean and organized shipping area. Provide support to the shipping team with various tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in a shipping or warehouse environment is preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs. Knowledge of basic computer software and ability to learn new systems quickly. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
