Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timely processing. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory control, collaborating with various departments, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments of goods and materials. Verify accuracy of incoming shipments against packing lists or bills of lading. Prepare and pack items for outgoing shipments, ensuring proper packaging and documentation. Coordinate with carriers and freight forwarders to schedule pick-ups and deliveries. Maintain accurate records of all shipping and receiving transactions. Update inventory systems with incoming and outgoing stock levels. Communicate effectively with internal departments to resolve discrepancies or issues. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Assist in the implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics is a plus. Must be able to read, write and speak Spanish fluent. Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, including documentation and inventory management. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Familiarity with shipping software and inventory management systems.
