Richmond, VA Job Details Full-time $18 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Database systems Creative writing Product photography Driver's License Online retail experience Full Job Description Position Summary With support of the manager, oversees daily operations in E-commerce Department, including production, shipping, and customer service. Works side by side with listing specialists, photographers and shippers to execute procedures and improve department efficiencies. Essential Duties (Other duties within the scope of this position may be assigned.) 1. Selects, photographs, describes and lists items of value on e-Commerce sites. 2. Ships sold/paid auction items via Shipping Carrier to Customers. 3. Responds in a timely manner to customer service emails and phone calls. 4. Facilitates pulls of unsold e-commerce items, and getting them packed to move to post Retail. 5. Creates daily production goal sheets for listers and shippers and works with the staff to ensure goals are met. 6. Tracks department's production results weekly/monthly for average # of listings, % sold, and average transaction. Works with team to ensure production standards are met. 7. Explores new category ideas for increased e-commerce listings and revenue. 8. Educates store managers on appropriate listing items and coordinates with store managers to maintain necessary inventory for listings 9. Unloads supply and product trailers, as well as loads return trailers. Supervisory Responsibilities The associate in this position has supervisory responsibility for designated associates in their department. Education/Experience/Certificates/Security Clearance High School Diploma or GED preferred. 1-3 Years' experience in a related field required. No professional certifications are required for this position. Valid state driver's license, insurance and satisfactory driving record are required. Associates in this position will be required to successfully pass a criminal background check and sex offender check. Ability to operate PC and databases required. Experience with current Microsoft Office systems preferred.- Knowledge of online programs such as Google, EBay and Amazon.com, required.
- Experience with Excel and online research, strongly preferred.
- Strong creative writing ability, required.
- Knowledge of digital camera use and the ability to take acceptable digital phots for online listings, required.
