Job Description

Flexaseal Engineered Seals and Systems, LLC., is a worldwide systems and mechanical seal manufacturer with facilities in Vermont, New York, Washington, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Texas and Brazil. After 40 years, Flexaseal is continuing to grow with sales agents and distributors servicing over 50 countries. We are seeking a full-time Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team! This position is responsible for coordinating, tracking, and handling incoming and outgoing shipments. The Shipping and Receiving Associate will also be responsible for handling and managing packing slips, all incoming/outgoing shipments, and regularly using shipping and receiving software.
Responsibilities:
Handling and managing packing slips, BOL's, and purchase orders Inputting/interpreting data using shipping and receiving software Accurately manage and document incoming and outgoing shipments Build and maintain relationships with shipping vendors Verify correctness of received material against bill of loading invoices and checks for damaged parts, etc. Opens bales, crates, and other containers Marks materials with identifying information Checks, weighs and packs products to confirm to work orders Finish process by wrapping or creating loads for shipment Inputs data into the computer system Responsible for the proper care and maintenance of company equipment assigned to the warehouse area Ensure warehouse areas are clean, accessible, and safe for traffic Comply with and ensure department compliance with Company health, safety and environmental policies Comply with all applicable U.S. export control and security regulations Perform other Shipping & Receiving duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Experience in a warehouse/shipping & receiving environment is preferred Experience with Starship and UPS WorldShip software is preferred Proficient in Forklift Operation and Material Handling A willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment Ability to multitask and prioritize Strong detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills Ability to perform moderate lifting of materials (around 40 lbs.), sit, stand, climb and bend on a regular basis Strong communication skills Experience working in a diverse environment is plus Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Prior experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting is a plus Please include a brief cover letter with your application.
