Logistics Manager The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for accurately receiving all incoming shipments, verifying materials, and entering receipts into the ERP system in a timely manner to support Accounts Payable and overall operational efficiency. This role also assists with coordinating inbound and outbound logistics, including scheduling trucks across multiple facilities. Acts as a critical link between operations, purchasing, and accounting to ensure smooth material flow and timely invoice processing. Key Responsibilities Receiving & Inventory Control Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips Accurately enter all receipts into the ERP system in a timely manner Identify and report discrepancies, damages, or missing items to appropriate departments Label and organize inventory in designated storage areas ERP & Documentation Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all received goods Ensure timely system entries to support Accounts Payable in invoice processing File and manage receiving documentation (packing slips, bills of lading, etc.) Communicate with purchasing and AP regarding any receiving issues Shipping & Logistics Support Assist in coordinating inbound and outbound shipments Schedule trucks for loading and unloading at two facility locations Communicate with carriers, drivers, and internal teams to ensure timely flow of goods Help prepare outbound shipments, including packaging and documentation as needed General Support Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow company safety policies and procedures Support cross-functional teams as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required 1-3 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) strongly preferred Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, data entry) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Good communication and coordination skills Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move materials up to 60 lbs.
