We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our Vertical Dimensions team at Vantage Elevation. You'll play a hands-on role in supporting the accurate and timely movement of incoming and outgoing materials and products. This position performs receiving, inspection, documentation, packaging, shipping, inventory, and general warehouse activities while helping ensure compliance with established safety and shipping requirements. Requirements We are searching for a candidate with: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous shipping and receiving, warehouse, or related experience preferred. Forklift experience preferred. Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures, documentation, and applicable requirements. Basic computer proficiency. Ability to accurately maintain shipping and inventory records. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and protocols. Knowledge of basic hand tools. Ability to accurately measure to within 1/16 of an inch. Duties and Responsibilities A typical day may include: Receive and inspect incoming shipments of goods and materials. Verify shipment contents for accuracy against applicable shipping documentation. Record and track shipment information using computer systems or manual logs. Package, label, and prepare outgoing shipments for delivery. Select and arrange carriers and transportation methods based on shipment requirements and destination. Coordinate with other departments to support timely and accurate shipment and delivery of materials and products. Maintain inventory records and monitor stock levels. Identify and report shipment discrepancies, damaged materials, or other shipping and receiving issues. Follow applicable shipping regulations, company procedures, and safety standards. Load and unload materials using a forklift as required. Perform general warehouse duties and activities as needed. Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient shipping and receiving work area. Perform other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, including the ability to: Lift and move boxes, packages, and materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Perform the physical activities associated with shipping, receiving, material handling, and general warehouse operations. Safely operate a forklift when trained and authorized. Benefits of Working With Us Hourly pay: $22.00 per hour for Washington-based applicants. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and applicable local requirements.
