Job Description

Smoky Lake Maple Products is home to the maple syrup industry's most revered production equipment. (Evaporators, Filter Presses, Bottling Systems, etc.) We are eager to welcome an additional detail oriented, dependable, positive-minded member to our award-winning, first shift team. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
Picking/Packing Orders — Smoky Lake sells its equipment via a diverse array of channels: Website, EBAY, Showroom etc. You will accurately pick, pack and ship our in-stock orders in a timely manner. Freight — Smoky Lake works with both private carriers as well as commercial LTL carriers to deliver evaporators all over the United States and beyond. We must palletize/armor our hand crafted maple equipment to protect it in long haul transit. Some heavy lifting required. Pre-pack Inventory — During the summer and fall months, our main focus is building inventory and preparing for the next busy season (January - March). Pre-pack projects are typically repetitive bulk breaking and labeling. Fabrication/Assembly — Assist in fabrication during the summer months. Fabrication involves measuring, cutting, filing, and bending stainless steel used in our maple evaporators.

QUALIFICATIONS
Solid work history Must be able to stand on your feet for long periods of time (8 - 10 hour work days) Ability to work with hands and pay attention to detail Some heavy lifting required Must be comfortable using a computer Forklift certification is a plus
