Shipping and Receiving Specialist Fiebing Company Milwaukee, WI Job Details Full-time $25 - $30 an hour 16 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Retirement plan Qualifications Packing Palletization Forklift Warehouse experience Pallet jack Full Job Description Overview Join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Specialist, where you will be the vital link ensuring the smooth flow of goods in and out of our warehouse. This role is very hands on and will require consistent picking and palletizing orders. This job will have repetitive lifting of boxes up to 50 lbs. This energetic role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your warehouse expertise to support efficient order fulfillment, inventory management, and distribution processes. Your proactive approach will help maintain accuracy, safety, and productivity across all shipping and receiving operations. Responsibilities Prepare, package, and label products accurately for outbound shipments using various packaging materials. Operate forklifts and pallet jacks, to load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Pick, pack, and organize orders Stock shelves systematically, maintain organized storage areas, and perform regular cycle counts or stock audits. Assist with loading trucks for distribution or delivery while following proper safety procedures for load securing. Support warehouse distribution activities by coordinating with other departments to meet shipping deadlines. Maintain accurate documentation of all shipping & receiving transactions, including MRPs (Material Requirements Planning) data. Follow safety protocols diligently during all warehouse activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Experience Prior experience working in a warehouse environment with a focus on shipping & receiving operations. Must have consistent work history showing prior long term commitments. Hands-on experience operating forklifts, and pallet jacks is highly preferred. Knowledge of order picking & packing processes within an e-commerce or distribution setting. Basic math skills for counting items, measuring packages, and verifying shipment details accurately. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
