About us Peritas Brands, LLC is a small business located in Fort Walton Beach, FL. We are currently opening additional distribution operations to a 79,000 sq ft warehouse in Frisco City, AL. We are a fast growing startup in the pet supply industry. We are looking for high quality, intelligent problem solvers that can help with the challenges of high growth. Check out our brand at http://www.pawinspired.com Our company is seeking an effective Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The Warehouse Manager will ensure that all inventories are stocked, managed and shipped in a timely manner. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for organizing material and equipment, training personnel and monitoring inventory. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, so we're looking for warehouse professionals with excellent leadership skills. The Warehouse Manager will also handle customer service responsibilities, like managing phone calls and handling returns.
Responsibilities:
Manage and Coordinate personnel Manage and Coordinate inbound and outbound shipping Preparing outbound shipping Plan and organize tasks to be completed in the allotted time. Draw up a schedule and delegate duties to personnel (e.g. picking, packaging, labeling, loading etc.). Monitor day-to-day activities and direct improvements if necessary. Check inventory records to ensure that orders are fulfilled correctly and on time. Verify that tasks are being performed according to established procedures and standards (e.g. picking and packing standards). Communicate with warehouse staff in regards to orders for damaged or missing items. Ensure that work is being performed safely (use of protective equipment e.g. eye protection or gloves). Use systems for tracking orders, shipments, inventory and personnel (TrackWise, Warehouse Management System etc.). Coordinate with outside contractors for pick-up, delivery and special projects. Plan daily operations from a warehouse management perspective: space planning, layout design, equipment selection, storage and retrieval methods etc.).

License/Certification:
Forklift Certification (Preferred)
