Duties and Responsibilities Essential Duties:

Process and issue customer invoices, credit memos, and statements. Track and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collections . Reconcile customer accounts and apply payments accurately to open invoices . Resolve billing discrepancies and maintain accurate financial records . Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing, statements, and payment issues professionally . Assist the sales team with order entry and sales reports . Verify and process sales orders for accuracy in pricing, quantities, and customer data . Maintain records of all A/R transactions, credit applications, and customer communications . Coordinate with accounting and sales departments to align billing and account status .

Non-Essential Duties:

Identify opportunities to streamline administrative processes for increased efficiency . Perform other duties as assigned .

Qualifications Experience & Education:

One year or more of accounts receivable experience . Sales knowledge preferred . High School Diploma or equivalent work experience . Valid CA Driver License .

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Proven experience in accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or a related accounting role . Strong understanding of A/R principles, billing procedures, and collections practices . Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail . Strong written and verbal communication skills . Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment . Proficiency in managing multiple tasks and prioritizing workload effectively .

Work Environment and Physical Demands Environment:

This is an office-based position with standard business hours . It involves frequent collaboration with sales and accounting departments .

Physical:

Requires the ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds . Involves standing, walking, and bending for extended periods, as well as frequent use of hands and arms .
