Job Description:
We are searching for a Warehouse Manager to join our growing team. This role is responsible for full oversight of Facilities, Warehouse Management, Transportation, Personnel, Budgeting and Planning. Partner with the Regional Director of Operations and Senior Leaders on key decisions that impact employee workforce.Responsibilities Include:
- Provides direction and leadership for Distribution Center key business activities associated with strategic goal accomplishment in support of overall Company objectives.
- Cultivate and lead a direct report team of Supervisors.
- Evaluate, review and coach all direct and indirect report associates to achieve goals. Partner with HR to develop organizational structures.
- Assist with Recruiting, Training, Evaluate and Manage the performance of Employees.
- Review financial statements for discrepancies before forwarding to AP and AR departments.
- Keep track of staffing requirements and hire new talent as needed to correspond with specific duties and skill sets.
- Complete DC Facility Management to include security, and maintenance, etc.
- Responsible for the location's safety program.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Degree preferred
- 5+ Years progressive leading large-scale teams (100+) preferably in Distribution.
- Union Experience Preferred; but not Required
- Knowledge of supply chain business processes and functions.
- Exhibits good interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Strong Customer Service Orientation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience in Employee development including coaching, and mentoring.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency level in Microsoft Word and Excel.
