Job Description

Role Overview We are seeking a seasoned Warehouse Manager who possesses a deep background in designing and organizing fresh warehouse environments. As our company undergoes rapid growth, we need a proactive leader capable of developing efficient layouts and anticipating future operational needs. You will be responsible for directing all day-to-day warehouse functions, ensuring that productivity, quality, and customer service benchmarks are met to maintain optimal throughput within established deadlines. Core Duties Oversee all warehouse functions, such as receiving, freight handling, shipping, restocking, and processing returns. Develop and implement creative process improvements to enhance existing operational workflows. Track and evaluate the performance of both the warehouse operations and individual staff members. Maintain a highly organized and efficient storage environment. Proactively identify and resolve operational bottlenecks. Manage the upkeep and arrangement of all inventory and storage zones. Execute inventory management tasks, including regular cycle counts. Verify the precision of all inventory movements and outgoing shipments. Help maintain high standards of inventory integrity to support business accuracy. Organize returned goods within racking systems to ensure proper inventory tracking. Determine necessary staffing levels and provide training to help the team reach peak efficiency. Provide clear guidance and coaching to team members regarding their performance expectations. Document all relevant records and utilize data reports to monitor the status of the warehouse. Create and refine work procedures to boost overall operational effectiveness. Collaborate and align warehouse activities with other internal departments. Professional Qualifications At least 2 years of professional experience in a Warehouse Manager capacity. Demonstrated history of setting up new warehouse facilities. Background in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse operations. Experience with E-Commerce fulfillment and shipping requirements for major retailers like Amazon, Costco, Target, or Wayfair. Strong leadership and supervisory capabilities. Comprehensive understanding of inventory control, logistics planning, and the shipping/trucking industry. Proficiency in MS Office and various warehouse management software systems. Experience with NetSuite is highly preferred. Capability to effectively input, extract, and interpret operational data. A hands-on approach to leadership, emphasizing active floor presence over desk work. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities. Proven track record of managing and directing complex operations. Superior time management and organizational skills. Compensation and Schedule The hourly rate for this position is $29.00 - $34.00. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
