This position requires a leader who can drive measurable performance improvements through disciplined KPI management, strong follow-up, and continuous improvement.
The Warehouse Manager will build structure, accountability, and scalable processes while partnering with the Floor Supervisor to ensure daily execution is completed at a high level. Kole Imports - Warehouse The Warehouse Manager is fully responsible for the warehouse operation and performance. This role owns warehouse KPIs, labor planning, process improvement, safety, execution standards, reporting cadence, and overall operational efficiency.This position requires a leader who can drive measurable performance improvements through disciplined KPI management, strong follow-up, and continuous improvement.
The Warehouse Manager will build structure, accountability, and scalable processes while partnering with the Floor Supervisor to ensure daily execution is completed at a high level. Primary Responsibilities Warehouse KPI Ownership & Reporting Own and report warehouse performance metrics including but not limited to:
- Order throughput / units per hour
- Pick accuracy and ship accuracy
- OT hours / OT %
- Labor cost per order / per line / per pallet
- Dock-to-stock time
- Receiving productivity
- Shipping on-time performance
- Inventory accuracy impact (partner with IC)
- Damage/claims reduction
- Safety performance (incidents, near misses, audit scores)
- Create and maintain:
- Weekly warehouse scorecard
- Daily execution priorities
- Monthly operational review summary Labor Planning & Productivity Management
- Build labor plan by day/week based on order volume and receiving demand
- Manage staffing levels, shift structure, cross-training
- Partner with HR on hiring plans and performance management
- Manage overtime with clear controls and approvals Operational Management (End-to-End)
- Oversee all warehouse zones: o receiving, put-away, replenishment, pick/pack/ship
- Ensure workflow is optimized to reduce bottlenecks
- Set daily execution expectations and capacity targets
- Own accountability structure across leads/supervisors Process Improvement & Standardization
- Create, document, and enforce SOPs for all functions
- Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements: o slotting strategy o staging standards o pick path improvements o replenishment process o shipping lane organization
- Lead continuous improvement projects quarterly Inventory Control Partnership
- Partner with Inventory Control to protect inventory accuracy
- Ensure bin discipline, labeling standards, location integrity
- Implement cycle count programs and corrective actions
- Reduce shrink, mis-slots, and operational inventory errors Safety & Compliance Ownership
- Own safety programs and enforcement
- Conduct safety meetings and audits
- Ensure OSHA compliance, incident investigations, and corrective actions
- Ensure equipment inspections and operator compliance Leadership & Communication Cadence
- Run structured daily/weekly cadence: o daily huddles o weekly KPI review o monthly planning reviews
- Coach Floor Supervisor(s) and leads
- Maintain high standards and strong culture of accountability Required Qualifications
- 7-15+ years warehouse/distribution experience
- 3-7+ years in warehouse management with KPI ownership
- Strong Excel/reporting capability
- Experience managing labor plans, overtime, staffing, and productivity
- Proven track record of KPI improvement in throughput and accuracy
- Strong leadership presence and follow-through discipline
- Familiarity with WMS/ERP tools (NetSuite experience a plus)
