Full Job Description Warehouse Manager Brown Bag Beverage Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Position Summary Brown Bag Beverage is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations and support our growing craft beverage distribution business. This role serves as the critical link between warehouse operations, delivery teams, suppliers, and sales representatives to ensure efficient inventory management, accurate order fulfillment, and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong leadership and communication skills, and is committed to maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse. Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Operations Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipment preparation. Schedule and coordinate incoming deliveries and supplier shipments. Ensure warehouse organization, cleanliness, and compliance with all safety standards. Maintain accurate inventory records and work with vendors and suppliers to ensure appropriate inventory levels are available at all times. Assist warehouse staff and drivers in maintaining an efficient workflow and safe working environment. Delivery Accuracy & Fleet Management Help ensure 100% order accuracy for all outgoing deliveries. Monitor and improve warehouse processes to minimize picking, loading, and delivery errors. Manage and maintain maintenance schedules for a fleet of 7-10 delivery vehicles. Coordinate vehicle repairs, preventative maintenance, registrations, and service appointments. Supplier & Sales Support Serve as the primary liaison between warehouse operations and the sales team. Send weekly sales reports and inventory updates to supplier partners. Coordinate with suppliers regarding inventory levels, incoming shipments, and product availability. Support sales initiatives by providing inventory information and operational updates. Administrative Responsibilities Set up new customers, suppliers, and products within the company management system. Maintain accurate operational records and reporting. Assist management with process improvements and special projects as needed. Qualifications Previous warehouse management, logistics, or distribution experience preferred. Experience in beverage, food, or consumer packaged goods distribution is a plus. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and inventory management software. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday. Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
