Responsibilities for this role include operating and overseeing the use of material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Previous experience in warehouse operations, distribution center management, or similar roles with warehouse supervisor experience is required for this position.
The Day-to-Day:
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety protocols across all warehouse activities. Supervise, train, and manage a team of approximately 10 warehouse employees. Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks. Organize and maintain the warehouse to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. Coordinate and schedule supply pickups and deliveries.Qualifications:
Bilingual (English/Spanish) required. Strong knowledge of logistics, materials handling equipment operation (including forklift operation), and shipping & receiving procedures. Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and communicate effectively with staff at all levels. Ability to implement process improvements through lean management techniques and optimize warehouse workflows. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices for heavy lifting and materials handling.Pay Rate:
$40.00 to $45.00 /hrPay:
