Job Description
About 6D Helmets At 6D Helmets, our mission is simple: to advance helmet technology and improve rider safety. Since introducing our groundbreaking Omni-Directional Suspension (ODS) technology in 2011, we've become an innovation leader in the motorcycle and bicycle industries. As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an organized, hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations and help ensure our customers receive the exceptional service they expect from 6D. Position Summary The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the daily operation of our La Habra warehouse, overseeing shipping, receiving, inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and helmet inspection/rebuild operations. This is a hands-on management position leading a small warehouse team while actively participating in the day-to-day operation. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys improving processes while leading by example. Responsibilities Oversee all daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory control. Supervise, train, and develop warehouse personnel while promoting a safe and productive work environment. Ensure customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time. Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and inventory management procedures. Coordinate inbound freight, receiving, and product put-away. Oversee helmet inspection, rebuild, and warranty processing. Monitor warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety. Coordinate closely with customer service, sales, purchasing, and accounting to support company objectives. Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, workflow, and accuracy. Assist with special projects and support company operations as needed. Qualifications Three or more years of warehouse leadership or warehouse management experience. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Experience with inventory management and warehouse operations. Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Forklift certification or experience is a plus. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Experience in the powersports, cycling, outdoor recreation, or distribution industries is preferred but not required.
