) Our warehouse operations make sure that products are properly received, selected and delivered to our stores for our ever-growing number of customers to enjoy. On average, our Warehouse Operations Managers work 50 hours per week. Our teams areprised of hardworking, dedicated individuals who work in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas. Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable amodation.- Assesses, establishes and ensures appropriate warehouse staffing levels.
- Recruits, selects, promotes, manages, develops and terminates associates and supervisors to retain a motivated and professional workforce.
- Manages the relationships with on-site partnerpanies, analyzes andmunicates operational change concerns to ensure acceptable standards.
- Works with direct reports to develop and implement action plans that will improve operating results.
- Communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to their team to ensure mutual understanding of desired results.
- Models thepany strategy as well asmunicates the core values of theanization to create a sense of teamwork and membership among employees.
- Ensures the service provided by 3rd party partnerpanies and vendors meets acceptable standards and a desirable working environment.
- Provides feedback and resolves issues with the management of 3rd party partnerpanies and vendors to ensure desired service expectations are achieved.
- Prepares and provides input to National Committees to allow for proper decision-making.
- Works cooperatively with peers and divisional and national departments tomunicate relevant information in a timely and effective manner.
- Reviews and analyzes thepetitive landscape within themunity and keeps leadership informed of ALDI'spetitive position.
- Coordinates with direct reports in the recruitment and interviewing of applicants; confers with direct reports regarding advancement, discipline or discharge of personnel.
- Develops and rmends changes to improve policies and prores.
- Supervises the activities of warehouse personnel, ensuring effectiveness and efficiency of day-to-day operations.
- Monitors and manages warehouse performance against budgeted Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Identifies opportunities for improvement and develops action plans accordingly.
- Monitors the inspections of inbound and outbound deliveries, verifying proper receipt of product, ensuringpliance withpany guidelines.
- Oversees and manages the performance of direct reports relating to training, development, motivation, retention and discipline.
- Manages supervisors to influence operating results, such as promoting a safe work environment, minimizing costs, minimizing turnover, increasing efficiency and maximizing inventory goals.
- Ensures equitable treatment of warehouse personnel.
- Addressesplaints promptly and appropriately across all warehouse departments and shifts.
- Supervises effective use of warehouse facility to ensure maximum utilization of space and equipment.
- Oversees the achievement of warehouse controllable expenses; ensures results are within expectation.
- Oversees shipping plan as established by transportation management and facilitates order changes as needed for requested product, equipment and supplies.
- Determines involuntary termination of warehouse staff and informs director of warehouse operations of circumstances prior to conducting the termination.
- Ensures that direct reports monitor conditions, equipment and employee performance to maintain a safe environment for employees, customers and vendors.
- Reviews and analyzes personnel's adnce to inventory prores, product handling guidelines and other policies and prores to minimize losses.
- Oversees and managespliance with established policies and prores and with federal, state, and local regulations.

Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally work in varying temperatures, hot and cold (including outdoor temperatures and refrigerator/freezer environments).
- Occasionally required to sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry and walk throughout the warehouse.
- Occasionally required to lift and place product weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
