A Warehouse Manager manages warehouse storage of inventory or supplies for a company. Maintains records of inventory and supplies; oversees distribution from storage out to customers, retail distributors or other company facilities.
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations at our Oakland facility. The ideal candidate MUST have direct prior experience in handling vehicle receiving, title processing, container unloading, and customer cargo management.
Key Responsibilities:
Receiving & Documentation:
Oversee vehicle receiving, title verification and handling, and container unloading operations.
Inspection & Photo Records:
Take clear photo documentation of incoming vehicles, cargo, and containers for record-keeping.
Customer Cargo Coordination:
Oversee, inspect, and coordinate incoming and outgoing customer cargo and inventory.
Staff & Schedule Management:
Organize daily shifts, monitor worker productivity, and enforce company policies and discipline.
Asset Security:
Safeguard company property, facility equipment, and customer inventory.
Facility Maintenance:
Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Qualifications (Required Experience):
MUST HAVE
3+ years of DIRECT experience in warehouse management, specifically handling vehicle/container receiving and cargo coordination. Hands-on experience with title handling, vehicle inspection, and container offloading is required. Strong leadership, team management, and organizational skills. Ability to work full-time on-site in Oakland, CA. Basic computer literacy for logging data and sending daily updates.
Compensation & Overtime:
Base pay: $5,200.00 - $5,700.00 per month. Approved overtime will be paid at time-and-a-half ($45.00/hr) in accordance with California labor laws.
