Position Overview Almco Plumbing Inc. is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Warehouse Manager to oversee warehouse operations, inventory systems, purchasing, and fleet material management. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate warehouse and truck inventory, ensuring technicians have the materials needed to perform efficiently, and managing purchasing processes through ServiceTitan and company systems. The ideal candidate is highly organized, accountable, technology-driven, and capable of operating in a fast-paced service and construction environment. ⸻ 2. Role Purpose The Warehouse Manager plays a critical role in maintaining operational efficiency by ensuring proper inventory control, timely purchasing, accurate tracking of materials, and effective coordination between the warehouse, field technicians, and management. This position directly impacts technician productivity, job profitability, inventory accuracy, and company organization. ⸻ 3. Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations Oversee daily warehouse operations and maintain an organized facility Receive, label, stock, and distribute materials and equipment Maintain cleanliness, safety, and efficiency within the warehouse Inventory Management Manage warehouse inventory and truck inventory using ServiceTitan Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate counts of all materials and equipment Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts Track usage, shortages, damaged items, and material discrepancies Ensure technicians' trucks are properly stocked and inventory is updated consistently Purchasing & Material Coordination Purchase materials, equipment, and supplies for service calls and projects Coordinate material deliveries to job sites and technicians Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors Compare pricing and control purchasing costs while maintaining quality standards Ensure timely procurement to avoid project delays Operational Support Coordinate with field supervisors, technicians, and office staff regarding inventory and job needs Maintain records of tools, equipment assignments, and asset tracking Assist with fleet and equipment organization Generate inventory and purchasing reports for management Compliance & Safety Follow company safety procedures and warehouse best practices Ensure proper storage and handling of materials and equipment ⸻ 4. Candidate Requirements Experience Previous warehouse, inventory, or purchasing experience required Experience in plumbing, construction, or service industry preferred Experience using ServiceTitan strongly preferred Skills & Knowledge Strong inventory management and organizational skills Proficiency in ServiceTitan inventory systems and basic computer software Understanding of plumbing materials and equipment preferred Strong communication and coordination abilities Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and accountability Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs Comfortable working in warehouse and outdoor environments Other Requirements Valid driver's license preferred Forklift experience is a plus ⸻ 5.
