The Warehouse Manager is responsible for all aspects of warehouse operations, productivity and efficiency. These duties include receiving and shipping, maintenance and organization, vehicles and equipment, safety, staff management, cost controls and coordination with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow. Supervision of all daily warehouse operations Responsible for safety policies, practices and adherence in the warehouse. Ensure warehouse remains clean and free of debris and/or safety hazards. Reporting of damages or required repairs in the warehouse. Ensure warehouse mechanical equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, floor scrubbers) are kept in good working order. Ensure equipment/supplies are stocked and in good condition (ladders, pallet jacks, carts, gloves, safety equipment). Oversight of order prep for shipping. Oversee Organic Inventory Warehouse space and required compliance. Receipt, verification and processing of incoming container shipments. Must be a certified forklift trainer.
Administrative:
Communication and coordination with Regulatory, Purchasing, Office and Sales staff. Oversee all paperwork between warehouse, and lab insuring it is processed accurately and promptly. OSHA and DOS compliance and record keeping including required postings. Maintenance and implementation of company OSHA Manual and safety programs. Maintenance and implementation of SQF and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for the Warehouse. Implement ongoing SQF Training Program and record keeping / documentation. Miscellaneous reports as needed.
Management:
Manage Warehouse team.
Management of staff resources:
schedules, hours, time off. Monitoring and approval of warehouse staff time cards. Provide staff training, including proper use of equipment, forklift driving safety and warehouse safety. Corrective and/or disciplinary action if required for warehouse staff. Cost control for warehouse supplies, equipment, maintenance and repairs. Weekly meetings with the Director of Operations to provide progress reports and discuss any pending issues.

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral and the ability to communicate with management team, other departments and service providers.

Ability to work with company software, Open Office, Open ERP and various types of reports.

Requirements and Qualifications:
Warehouse Management Experience - 5 plus years minimum required. Expertise in managing a SQF certified warehouse. Experience with OSHA, DOS and warehouse GMP requirements. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the course of the shift. Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds or more. Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Able to work independently. Teamwork, accountability, and respectful communication across all levels of the organization. Working knowledge of the Spanish language a plus
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
