Marine Sales and Yard Manager The Marina At Highland Lake Winsted, CT Job Details Full-time $20 - $35 an hour 12 days ago Benefits On-the-job training Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description Marina Sales & Yard Manager The Marina Sales & Yard Manager is a dynamic, multi-faceted role responsible for supporting marina operations, marine sales, customer service, and property maintenance. This position plays a key role in the sales of boats, dock systems, and boat lifts while also assisting with day-to-day marina, rental, and service operations. This role offers a wide variety of responsibilities and is ideal for a motivated, mechanically inclined individual who enjoys working both indoors and outdoors in a fast-paced marina environment. On-the-job training is available for the right candidate. This job requires working Saturdays during the summer months. Key Responsibilities Boat sales and customer support Maintain sales inventory, yard appearance and showroom appearance Organize off-site events to display/showcase new boats Coordinate customer demos and test drives ShoreMaster dock and lift sales, design, ordering, and installation Secondary Responsibilities Pick up, launch, haul and deliver boats Assist with boat valet Support boat rentals including fueling, inspections, customer orientation, and repairs Support service and parts department Perform general facility maintenance including painting, repairs, and groundskeeping Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills Sales experience preferred Mechanically inclined with general marine knowledge preferred Ability to trailer and maneuver boats Boat license (or willingness to obtain) Computer proficiency including Microsoft Applications Strong organization and attention to detail Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently General handyman skills including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting Ability to lift, move, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
