In this vital role, you will oversee daily distribution activities, manage inventory control, and ensure seamless logistics processes. Duties Oversee all aspects of warehouse distribution, ensuring timely and accurate shipping and receiving of goods. Manage inventory levels using advanced warehouse management systems (WMS) and implement inventory control strategies to reduce discrepancies. Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff, including supervisors, ensuring high performance through effective team management practices. Coordinate logistics operations with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and internal departments to streamline processes. Conduct regular process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, safety, and compliance with OSHA standards. Supervise materials handling activities, including heavy lifting and mechanical equipment operation such as forklifts, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Maintain accurate documentation related to shipping & receiving, inventory transactions, and warehouse records using systems like AS400. Skills Proven experience in warehouse management, including warehouse supervisor roles or similar leadership positions. Strong knowledge of inventory management techniques and distribution logistics. Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, and other relevant software tools like OSHAsafety standards. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate or oversee forklift operations and other materials handling equipment safely. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a collaborative environment. Deep understanding of e-commerce fulfillment processes and 3PL operations.
