Job Summary:

The Warehouse Operations Manager will ensure that all product purchasing, customer orders, and warehouse activities are fulfilled efficiently and profitably.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Oversees the day-to-day workflow of the warehouse, scheduling and organizing personnel
• Hires and trains new warehouse employees.
• Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
• Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
• Maintains accurate employee timesheets and ensures that they are turned into payroll on time.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Oversees the day-to-day responsibilities of purchasing, order fulfillment, warehousing, shipping, receiving, safety, scheduling and personnel management
• Ensures efficient warehouse operations through collaboration and coordination with other departments.
• Ensures that employees have a safe working environment and that products are stored safely
• Provides and promotes quality customer service - call customers, track usage, solve problems
• Creates accurate inventory, estimates, purchase orders, item receipts, sales orders, and invoicing in QuickBooks
• Ensures efficient and affordable shipping of products to customers
• Completes all required management reports.
• Executes maintenance activities when needed.
• Researches, identifies, and presents new ideas to improve warehouse operations.
• Attends and actively participates in regularly scheduled and impromptu meetings.
• Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policies.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Orders supplies as needed
• Monitors accounts receivable and collect on past due accounts
• Keeps company equipment - forklifts, pallet jacks, slitters, trucks, tools, etc. - in good working condition
• Monitors and update product pricing.
• Store and create SDS/TDS sheets.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent supervisory and interpersonal skills.
• Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
• Thorough understanding of applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policies.
• Thorough understanding of QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
• At least five years of related experience required; supervisory experience strongly preferred.

Experience with QuickBooks.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the warehouse.

Job Type:

Full-time Pay:

$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
