This is a hands-on position responsible for delivering materials and equipment to jobsites, transporting scaffolding and masonry materials, and maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse and yard.
Pay:
$25-$30/hour, depending on experience
Schedule:
Full-time Responsibilities Deliver block, scaffolding, equipment, tools, and other masonry materials to jobsites. Safely drive a company truck while pulling and maneuvering a trailer. Load and unload trailers with scaffolding, equipment, tools, and materials. Pick up equipment and scaffolding from completed jobs and return it to the warehouse/yard. Properly secure loads for safe transportation. Organize and maintain the warehouse, yard, trailers, tools, and equipment. Keep materials and equipment stored in designated locations so they can be easily located and loaded. Assist with inventory and notify management when materials, tools, or equipment are missing or need replacement. Inspect trucks, trailers, and equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns. Help prepare materials and equipment for upcoming jobs. Maintain a clean, safe, and professional warehouse and yard. Assist the operations team with other material-handling or logistical needs as required. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean/reliable driving record. Experience safely driving a truck and pulling, backing, and maneuvering trailers . Comfortable loading, unloading, and securing heavy materials and equipment. Able to perform physical work, including lifting, carrying, climbing, and working outdoors. Forklift or equipment-loading experience preferred. Construction, masonry, scaffolding, warehouse, or material-delivery experience is a plus. Dependable, punctual, organized, and able to work independently. Strong attention to safety and care of company vehicles, tools, and equipment. We need someone who can be trusted to get the right materials to the right job, keep our equipment organized, and make sure our crews have what they need to work efficiently.
