Job Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
Direct all daily warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, loading, shipping, inventory control, and housekeeping.
Ensure efficient flow of inbound and outbound tire shipments.
Monitor productivity and implement operational improvements.
Balance labor resources based on workload and business demands.
Ensure customer orders are shipped accurately and on time.
Leadership & Team Development
Lead, coach, mentor, and develop warehouse supervisors and associates.
Conduct employee training and performance evaluations.
Promote accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Enforce company policies and operational standards.
Operational Improvement
Evaluate warehouse workflows and recommend process improvements.
Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
Improve warehouse layout, storage utilization, inventory flow, and dock efficiency.
Develop and maintain SOPs.
Utilize KPIs and operational data to drive decision-making.
Inventory Management
Maintain high inventory accuracy through cycle counts and physical inventories.
Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Ensure proper product rotation and inventory control procedures.
Safety & Compliance
Promote and enforce a safe working environment.
Ensure OSHA compliance and adherence to company safety standards.
Conduct routine warehouse inspections and corrective actions.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
5-10 years of warehouse or distribution center leadership experience.
Experience managing high-volume distribution operations.
Experience with
