FL Job Type:
Full-Time Industry:
Audiovisual Production / Live Events / Equipment Rental Company Overview Miami Sound Rental is a fast-growing audiovisual production and equipment rental company serving live events, corporate productions, conferences, private events, and rentals throughout South Florida and beyond. Our company depends on strong systems, accurate inventory, clean and well-maintained equipment, and disciplined warehouse operations to deliver flawless events for our clients. We are looking for a Warehouse Manager who takes organization, accountability, and operational standards seriously. Position Summary The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the warehouse, managing inventory, maintaining equipment standards, enforcing procedures, and making sure all equipment is properly organized, cleaned, stored, tracked, and ready for productions. This is a high-responsibility role for someone who is methodical, detail-oriented, honest, and "by the book." We need someone who can run the warehouse like a well-run ship or armory — clean, organized, controlled, accurate, and accountable at all times. The right person will take full ownership of the equipment and warehouse systems, making sure every item is maintained, handled properly, accounted for, and stored in the correct location according to our internal system. This person must also be comfortable learning and using our internal software systems for inventory, equipment tracking, production preparation, and warehouse accountability. We are looking for someone who takes pride in order, accuracy, cleanliness, and accountability. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Manage and maintain accurate inventory records Ensure all equipment is cleaned, tested, repaired, and properly stored Make sure every item is in the correct physical location and properly reflected in the internal system Prepare equipment for events and confirm all equipment returns after events Check equipment in and out according to company procedures Identify missing, damaged, dirty, misplaced, or improperly handled equipment Hold technicians accountable for proper equipment handling and warehouse procedures Communicate issues directly, professionally, and clearly with technicians and management Follow company systems and procedures carefully and consistently Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and efficient warehouse Monitor equipment condition and report maintenance or repair needs Help prevent loss, damage, misplacement, and poor handling of company assets Ensure warehouse standards are followed every day, not just when someone is checking Take full ownership of equipment accountability and warehouse organization Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is someone who is: Extremely organized and detail-oriented Methodical, consistent, and disciplined Honest, responsible, and reliable A strong rule-follower who respects systems, procedures, and accountability Comfortable enforcing standards with technicians and team members Not afraid to address issues directly and professionally Able to work well with both technicians and management Willing and able to learn internal software and inventory systems Serious about accuracy, cleanliness, structure, and operational excellence Someone who takes pride in keeping equipment and warehouse operations in excellent condition Someone who notices when something is out of place and takes action to fix it This is not a casual warehouse role. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, follows procedures, and understands the importance of protecting company equipment and maintaining strong systems.
Requirements Qualified candidates should have:
Prior warehouse, inventory, logistics, or operations experience Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Experience managing or tracking equipment, inventory, tools, products, or supplies Ability to lift, move, organize, and handle equipment safely Comfort using software, apps, computers, tablets, or inventory systems Strong communication skills Ability to lead, correct, and hold others accountable professionally Reliable attendance and strong follow-through Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong sense of responsibility and ownership Commitment to following company procedures exactly and consistently Preferred Qualifications Preferred experience includes: Audiovisual, live events, production, or equipment rental experience Warehouse management experience Inventory control experience Logistics or operations experience Experience managing equipment, tools, cases, cables, or technical gear Experience supervising or holding team members accountable AV experience is helpful, but it is not the most important requirement. Strong organization, honesty, accountability, attention to detail, and the ability to follow and enforce systems are more important than prior audiovisual experience. Who This Role Is Best For This role is best for someone who likes structure, systems, organization, and accountability. You should enjoy creating order, keeping things clean, making sure items are where they belong, and ensuring that everyone follows the correct process. We are looking for someone who takes pride in doing things the right way, even when no one is watching. Who This Role Is Not For This role is not a good fit for someone who is careless, disorganized, casual about procedures, uncomfortable using systems, or unwilling to address issues with team members. Our equipment, warehouse, and inventory accuracy are critical to the success of our events, and this role requires a serious and responsible person. Why Join Miami Sound Rental? At Miami Sound Rental, our warehouse is at the center of our ability to deliver successful events. The Warehouse Manager plays a key role in protecting company assets, supporting technicians, improving operations, and making sure productions are prepared correctly. This is an opportunity to take ownership of an important department in a growing company with strong systems, high standards, and room for long-term growth. How to Apply If you are highly organized, responsible, honest, and ready to take full ownership of a high-responsibility warehouse management role, we encourage you to apply. Please submit your resume and tell us why you would be a strong fit for managing the warehouse, equipment, inventory, and accountability standards at Miami Sound Rental.
