Warehouse Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced manager to fill an immediate opening in our warehouse. This position is primarily responsible for managing product inventory, supervising warehouse staff, and providing direct support for branch operational activities. STAline Waterworks is a Charlotte, NC based distributor of waterworks products and related items to contractors and municipalities. Job Requirements:

Associate's degree or equivalent Minimum 1 year experience managing others in a warehouse environment Ability to pass a forklift certification training course Strong leadership and communication skills

Job Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily workflow of warehouse operations including order fulfillment and shipment, inventory and materials management, staff assignments and scheduling. Organize warehouse staff to ensure sales orders are picked, packed, and/or shipped in a safe and timely manner. Ensure inventories are accurate and control inventory levels by conducting periodic physical counts reconciled with automated systems. Use computer or scanning device to enter records, track materials, and control inventory. Prepare reports as requested by branch and corporate management. Maintain security of stocked materials. Understand customer needs and align the warehouse to support commitments of the business. Responsible for general housekeeping of the warehouse and branch facility. Perform customer service duties as requested to support client's needs. Ensure warehouse associates are properly trained and certified. Provide a safe working environment, adhering to Health, Safety and Environmental procedures. Ensure that vehicles, machinery and equipment in the warehouse are well maintained and fit for purpose. Operate a forklift, pick, pack, ship, load and/or unload materials, and perform other warehouse associate duties when necessary. Support the Inside Sales, Outside Sales, and Branch Management teams as needed. STAline Waterworks is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
