This role is central to supporting our drone platform manufacturing operations — ensuring accurate inventory, timely kitting for production, and smooth shipping and receiving of goods. The ideal candidate is highly organized, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment supporting defence and commercial production lines. Key Responsibilities Inventory & Stock Management Maintain accurate, real-time inventory levels across all warehouse locations Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventories; investigate and resolve discrepancies Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of raw materials, components, sub-assemblies, and finished goods Monitor stock levels and flag shortages or excess inventory to production planning and procurement ERP System Management Own day-to-day warehouse transactions within the ERP system (receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments) Ensure all inventory movements are accurately and promptly recorded to maintain data integrity Partner with operations and planning teams to keep BOM-driven stock data aligned with production needs Generate and analyse ERP reports (stock status, inventory aging, kitting readiness) for leadership Kitting for Production Manage the kitting process to ensure production lines receive complete, accurate component kits on schedule Coordinate with production planning to prioritize kitting based on build schedules Identify and escalate shortages or missing components that could delay production Maintain kitting area organization and traceability of issued components Shipping & Receiving Oversee receiving of incoming goods: inspect for accuracy, quality, and damage against purchase orders Manage outbound shipping operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and properly documented shipments Coordinate with freight carriers, customs brokers (for international shipments), and logistics partners Ensure compliance with any applicable export control and defense-related shipping requirements Team & Operations Leadership Supervise, train, and schedule warehouse staff (receiving, kitting, shipping personnel) Enforce safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and compliant warehouse environment Develop and improve warehouse processes, layout, and workflows for efficiency and accuracy Coordinate closely with Production, Procurement, Quality, and Engineering teams
Requirements:
3+ years of warehouse management experience, ideally in a manufacturing or production environment Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Priority, NetSuite, SAP, or similar) for inventory and warehouse transactions Experience with kitting processes and BOM-based material management Strong understanding of shipping/receiving procedures, including domestic and international logistics Proven leadership experience managing warehouse staff Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Experience in defence, aerospace, drone, or electronics manufacturing is a plus Familiarity with export control regulations (ITAR/EAR) is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; comfort with data-driven reporting
