Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations with energy and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire distribution center, ensuring smooth logistics, efficient inventory control, and safe material handling. Your leadership will drive process improvements, optimize warehouse workflows, and foster a team-oriented environment that emphasizes safety, accuracy, and productivity. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage complex warehouse functions while contributing to the growth and success of our logistics network. Responsibilities Oversee daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment to ensure timely and accurate processing. Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff, supervisors, and material handlers to achieve operational excellence through effective team management and managerial communication. Implement process improvements utilizing lean management principles to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize workflow within the distribution center. Manage inventory control systems using warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, RF scanners, and other inventory management tools to maintain accurate stock levels. Operate or supervise the operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts and other heavy lifting machinery in compliance with OSHA standards. Coordinate logistics activities with third-party logistics providers (3PL), carriers, and internal departments to streamline shipping & receiving processes. Ensure compliance with safety regulations including OSHA guidelines, maintaining a safe working environment for all team members engaged in warehouse operations. Monitor warehouse performance metrics regularly to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement corrective actions as needed. Conduct regular audits of inventory accuracy and implement strategies for continuous improvement in inventory management systems. Support e-commerce fulfillment processes by managing order accuracy and timely dispatch in a fast-paced environment. Experience Proven experience managing warehouse distribution operations within a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated leadership skills with previous roles in warehouse supervision or management. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management systems such as AS400, and MS Office tools for reporting and communication purposes. Hands-on experience operating or supervising the use of forklift trucks, RF scanners, and other mechanical material handling equipment. Familiarity with logistics coordination including shipping & receiving procedures and 3PL partnerships. Knowledge of lean management techniques aimed at process improvement within warehousing settings. Understanding of OSHA safety standards related to warehousing activities including heavy lifting and materials handling. Experience working within distribution center operations that support e-commerce platforms is highly desirable. Pay:
$37,440.00 - $50,000.00 per year
