Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Warehouse Manager/Driver to lead our distribution operations and ensure seamless logistics flow. This role combines hands-on warehouse supervision with driving responsibilities, requiring a proactive leader who excels in process improvement, inventory control, and team management. You will oversee daily warehouse activities, coordinate transportation planning, and manage freight operations to optimize efficiency and safety. Responsibilities Supervise warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment to ensure timely and accurate distribution. Manage transportation planning and fleet management to optimize delivery schedules, reduce costs, and improve overall logistics efficiency. Lead process improvement initiatives using lean principles and supply chain analytics to streamline workflows and eliminate waste. Oversee procurement, purchasing, and materials management activities to maintain optimal inventory levels within budget constraints. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems such as AS400, and transportation management systems for real-time tracking and data analysis. Coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and manage distribution operations across multiple channels including freight forwarding (NVOCC) and shipping & receiving. Supervise team members, including warehouse staff and drivers, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous development through effective managerial communication. Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to forklift operation, dispatching, and warehouse procedures while maintaining a safe working environment. Monitor profit & loss statements related to warehouse activities; participate in budgeting processes; implement process management strategies for cost control. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing supply chain processes and implementing best practices for distribution management. Experience Proven experience in warehouse supervision with a strong background in logistics management, distribution operations, or supply chain roles. Demonstrated success in managing transportation planning, freight operations, or fleet management within a fast-paced environment. Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP platforms like AS400 or equivalent, and supply chain analytics tools. Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a safety-conscious culture. Knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as lean manufacturing or continuous improvement strategies. Familiarity with procurement processes including purchasing, materials management, demand planning, and inventory control.
