Warehouse Manager Green Recycling | Bloomington, Illinois Lead Operations. Develop Teams. Make an Impact. Green Recycling is a growing leader in the textile recycling industry, dedicated to sustainability, operational excellence, and exceptional customer service. We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead our Bloomington, Illinois operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven leader who enjoys building strong teams, improving processes, and taking ownership of warehouse performance. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient operations while supporting Green Recycling's mission of diverting textiles from landfills and creating a more sustainable future. Position Summary The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, safety compliance, employee development, and operational performance. This position requires a strong leader who can effectively manage personnel, maintain high operational standards, and adapt to the changing needs of a growing organization. Key Responsibilities Direct and oversee all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, processing, storage, inventory control, and shipping activities. Lead, coach, train, and develop warehouse staff to maintain a productive, safe, and positive work environment. Establish and enforce warehouse policies, procedures, and best practices. Monitor inventory levels and work closely with sales and operations teams to ensure customer demands are met. Maximize warehouse space utilization and maintain an organized facility. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Analyze warehouse performance and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Manage labor scheduling and staffing to support operational needs. Maintain accurate records and reporting related to inventory, productivity, safety, and equipment. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Qualifications Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager, Operations Manager, Distribution Manager, or similar leadership role. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and hold employees accountable. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Experience with inventory management, warehouse operations, logistics, and shipping/receiving processes. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities. Forklift and equipment operation experience is preferred. Additional Requirements Must be willing and able to travel regularly as needed. Must be able to work one day per week at a company domicile located in the southwestern region of Illinois. Must be available to work outside of normal business hours when operational needs require. Must be willing to work certain holidays to support business operations and customer commitments. Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
