Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Manager to lead warehouse operations for a growing manufacturing company in Elmhurst. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing the shipping and receiving team, maintaining inventory accuracy, and driving process improvements to increase operational efficiency.
Job Duties:
Lead, train, and develop the shipping and receiving team. Oversee daily shipping, receiving, and inventory control activities. Ensure accurate and timely ERP transactions and inventory management. Maintain organized warehouse operations and FIFO inventory practices. Partner with production and internal teams to support operational goals. Identify and implement process improvements to improve efficiency and accuracy. Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper use of material handling equipment.
Qualifications:
7+ years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, supply chain, or related experience. Previous management or supervisory experience required. Strong process improvement and problem-solving skills. Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification. Bachelor's degree preferred.
