In this vital role, you will oversee daily distribution activities, ensure efficient inventory control, and drive process improvements that enhance overall productivity. Your leadership will foster a safety-first environment while managing a team of warehouse staff to meet operational goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence logistics excellence and streamline warehouse workflows in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all warehouse distribution activities, ensuring timely shipment and receipt of goods Lead process improvement initiatives to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and increase efficiency using lean management principles Operate and oversee the use of material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners safely and effectively Maintain accurate inventory control through the use of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems, ensuring data integrity Manage shipping & receiving operations, verifying shipments against documentation and resolving discrepancies promptly Oversee team management tasks including scheduling, training, performance evaluations, and fostering a positive team environment Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and other safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all staff Collaborate with logistics partners to coordinate transportation schedules and improve distribution center operations Experience Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution center management with a strong background in inventory control and materials handling Demonstrated leadership skills with previous warehouse supervisor or manager roles, including team management and managerial communication Hands-on experience operating forklift trucks, heavy lifting equipment, and other material handling tools Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management systems, RF scanners, and Microsoft Office suite for reporting and documentation Knowledge of lean management principles, process improvement strategies, and logistics best practices Understanding of OSHA regulations related to warehouse safety and materials handling procedures Prior experience in shipping & receiving processes within a fast-paced distribution environment Join us to lead our warehouse team toward operational excellence!
