This position offers the opportunity to lead and support warehouse activities, ensuring seamless coordination across inventory management, logistics, and distribution processes. You will work closely with senior management to implement process improvements, enhance efficiency, and uphold high standards of safety and quality. Duties Assist in overseeing daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment. Support the implementation of process improvement initiatives and lean methodologies to boost productivity and reduce waste. Collaborate with transportation management systems to coordinate freight movements, transportation planning, and distribution logistics. Supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance on safety protocols, operational procedures, and team development. Monitor inventory levels using warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms to ensure accuracy and availability. Assist in managing budgets, demand planning, procurement activities, and supply chain analytics to optimize costs and service levels. Support continuous improvement efforts through data analysis, process management, and operational audits to enhance overall supply chain performance. Skills Proven experience supervising warehouse operations with a strong understanding of distribution management and logistics management. Knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory management tools. Strong skills in supply chain management, production planning, procurement, freight handling, shipping & receiving. Excellent managerial communication skills for team leadership, training, and cross-department collaboration. Ability to analyze supply chain data using supply chain analytics to identify opportunities for process improvement. Familiarity with lean principles, continuous improvement strategies, and process management techniques. Experience with budget oversight, demand planning, inventory control, and distribution operations. Competence in Microsoft Office suite for reporting and documentation purposes.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per weekBenefits:
