Your management should foster a team environment that focuses on serving the customer. You will work closely with your direct team, external customers and corporate support personnel. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure that all office workplace operations are running smoothly and efficiently. The Operations Manager must be quick to learn, able to find new and improved ways of completing tasks (thinking outside the box), and able to handle change quickly while properly managing their own stress. This person should help staff solve problems. This person should help the company stay in a proactive state instead of a reactive state. Being in a reactive state will occur no matter how much planning is done to prevent it, and when that happens this person should be able to assist the team leaders in working through the problem as efficiently and effectively as possible. Being able to keep projects on task and on time is a must.
