Position Functions Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain. Establishes performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting the supply chain. Develops and maintains detailed inventories of materials and supplies located in the company, at sites, and in the satellite warehouses. Maintains required quantity of finished goods to optimize warehousing. Analyzes current inventories and procedures; suggests improvements to increase efficiency of supply chain and profitability for the company. Develops policies to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality and safety; implements subsequent changes to processes. Identifies optimal shipment and transportation routes with attention to consolidation of warehousing and distribution.

Skills and Abilities:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Business or related field or equivalent work experience required.

Experience:

3-5 years of previous Warehouse/Distribution management experience required; previous food distribution experience strongly preferred. 3-5 years previous supervisory experience.

Microsoft Office Suite Other Requirements:

Knowledge of:

beverage industry; food distribution process; Good Manufacturing Practices for Food Industry; facility layout, product flow; material handling equipment; Advance Shipment Notification process; logistics; picking procedures; basic DOT rules and regulations; basic financial management; methods and techniques used in accident prevention and safety inspections; Microsoft Office Suite. Skill in internal customer service; budgeting for labor and other expenditures; training and coaching.

Ability to:
